Day 18 | back to Nelson: and on to Mt Gambier
84 km | Heading west total: 786 km
Heading off to Nelson resonates doubly.
Less obviously I came here with CJ in almost a decade ago and we took a few fun photos surrounded by Nelson signs.
More obviously is the prospect of returning to Nelson, (or somewhere else in NZ), on a more permanent basis.
It’s been quite a few years since I left and there have been many changes.
I’ve changed a fair amount too.
Somehow I just can’t think how long it will be until I finish this little jaunt, I’m enjoying life on the road.
Might be a while.
