Day 269 | across the road from Kumarina Roadhouse: now a 255km stretch with no services or water to traverse

82 km | Heading west total: 12,483 km

I pass a whole lot of junk on the side of the road in my travels. Empty bottles of drink or beer predominate.

Occasionally I come across more useful things: I found a Leatherman tool (worth about $240) near Penola and use it every day to cut my cheese; a much better LED headlight than what I had near Roebourne; numberplates; various hats; less useful broken mobile phones, cameras etc.

Today I found a brand new pair of jeans that just happened to fit me perfectly.

There must be an interesting story behind that discard.
