Day 448 | Even more Karumba! can't have too much

rest day

Spent some time plotting my trajectory over the next phase, to Mt Isa via Lawn Hill.

Seems I can stretch it to at least 750 km and almost 2 weeks, although I always seem to be a sucker for a good campsite next to a flowing river with prospects for the sound of close by gunfire.

The proposed route is via Burketown and Lawn Hill National Park which will almost take me back to the Northern Territory border.

In the meantime I’m taking advantage of what Karumba has to offer: sunshine for drying the washing and scoffing a mountain of freshly cooked prawns straight from the trailer.

Promise I’m off tomorrow.
