Day 233 | finally the oasis: Broome, whooo hooo!!

Made it to Jan’s house which will be home for the next few days. She made me feel very welcome despite my dishevelled appearance and, no doubt, quite some aroma.
Frankly I’m feeling quite knackered after riding from Darwin over the last 45 days so the chance to take a break here in her shady 4 bedroom house within walking distance of Cable Beach will do me the world of good.
We went down to the famous (Cable) beach to run the two biggish dogs, Chikita and Leela and watched the sun go down into the Indian Ocean.
Having lived on the east coast of Australia for far too long something doesn’t seem right about that.
