Day 447 | Bridgetown Caravan Park again: yup, it's time for a cleaning frenzy before I get to Perth

rest day

$12 clinches it. I’m staying two nights.

I do have an issue to deal with: clean clothes.

While I wait for them to dry I sit in the camp kitchen drinking coffee and fiddling about on the computer. Plenty of photos to download.

There’s big jarrah trees around. And some small colourful parrots eating bits off the nuts up in those trees. The nuts land like bullets on the tin roof of the kitchen after their 50m drop. It’s like a war zone.

A walk through the town and I make a decision: despite the historic beauty of this place I can’t see me staying here and trying to find a job. It’s just too small. The clincher was finding that there was no muesli left in the local IGA. Yes, it’s that small.

I’m heading to Perth as per Plan A. I hear they have the requisite brekkies there.

Munda Biddi Trail here I come.
