The Weekend Australian newspaper came in just before lunchtime today and proved a wealth of reading to occupy my mind on my day of rest.
James Halliday’s 100 Best Australian Wines is redundant for the second year. The key article is veteran journalist Paul Kelly’s in depth assessment of Rudd’s days in command to date.
Gotta say I’ve lost any interest in politics on a day to day basis, it’s the same old.
We concur: everything has ground to a halt. There is reasonable management of the status quo but nothing new brewing.
That sounds all too familiar.
